Podium Triumphs and an Overall Victory for ROWE RACING in Le Castellet

ROWE RACING clinched a remarkable victory at the inaugural event of this year's World Challenge Europe GT series, held in the picturesque south of France.

Augusto Farfus of Brazil, accompanied by his promising BMW M works teammates, Dan Harper from the UK and Max Hesse from Germany, delivered an impeccable performance in the #998 BMW M4 GT3, securing a resounding victory with an impressive lead of 13.519 seconds. This triumph marks the inaugural victory for all three drivers in the GT World Challenge Europe. With each boasting 25 points, they now stand atop the drivers' standings, while ROWE RACING commands the team standings in the Endurance Cup.

Regrettably, despite leading the race, the team from St. Ingbert was thwarted from achieving a one-two finish akin to Monza 2023, owing to an unforeseen pit stop necessitated by initial refueling difficulties.

Second Podium Achievement within 8 Days at the Nürburgring 24-Hour Qualifier

The ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifier stands as a pivotal juncture in our journey towards the pinnacle of the season, the ADAC 24h Nürburgring, scheduled for the first weekend in June.

In the second leg of the qualifier, our St. Ingbert-based team secured second and fourth positions with our two BMW M4 GT3s, following a twelfth-place finish the preceding evening. Sunday proved especially gratifying for Raffaele Marciello, who, in his inaugural race weekend for ROWE RACING as a new BMW M works driver, clinched his maiden podium finish.

Notably, in the #99 BMW M4 GT3, Augusto Farfus of Brazil, alongside Belgian Dries Vanthoor and South African Sheldon van der Linde, also secured a faultless fourth-place finish on Sunday.

The remarkable podium placements achieved both at Le Castellet and the 24-hour qualifier underscore the meticulousness of our preparations for the forthcoming season. These triumphs validate our tireless efforts and instill in us a sense of anticipation for the forthcoming race events.
