ROWE is one of the few producers of additive packs in the world, also called super concentrates, for all modern coolant technologies that are produced in the OAT plant in Worms and mixed with monoethylene glycol into high-quality coolant concentrates in Bubenheim, in accordance with the strictest quality requirements under IATF 16949. This gives us the ability to guarantee our customers and development partners leading quality and the highest future compatibility, especially in regard to ever growing thermal challenges caused by trends such as downsizing and turbo charging.

Lab with the best equipment

In the laboratory, ROWE experts are able to check all the test criteria set out in ASTM D3306 and ASTM D4985, the most demanding standard coolant specifications in the world. In addition, we are also able to put our coolants through their paces under real-life conditions on dynamic test benches. Here we test to FFV-Heft R530, focusing on fluid properties such as corrosion protection performance, high-temperature, oxidation and storage stability, compatibility with other coolants, plastics and processing agents, cavitation protection properties and foaming tendencies.

OPTIMUM VALUES IN CORROSION PROTECTION

The table shows the maximum change in specific weight for each metal after two weeks of contact with a coolant. The limits of the standard ASTM D1384 show the maximum value in grams that a metal can gain after long contact with a coolant. Some of the ROWE HIGHTEC ANTIFREEZE products are more than 100 times below the limit, which speaks to the highest quality of our products.
